Sebastian River High School will recognize Dr. Holly Hamilton as its Community Champion during its annual “Pink Out” football game against Okeechobee on Friday, September 27, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. The Sharks tradition honors cancer survivors and those who have lost their battle with the disease.
Dr. Hamilton, a dedicated volunteer for six years, has been a cornerstone of the SRHS football program. Her tireless efforts have helped the Sebastian River Gridiron Association thrive, ensuring players receive the best support.
As co-founder of the SRHS Football Booster four years ago, Dr. Hamilton has been instrumental in establishing the foundation for the organization’s success. Her commitment to the community is evident in her contributions to the Coach’s Scholarship Program, where over $9,000 was awarded to SRHS football players pursuing higher education.
Beyond her involvement with the football program, Dr. Hamilton is a dedicated supporter of the school community. Her service on the School Advisory Council (SAC) and PTA , her volunteer work with the ESE program, and her generous donation of her photography skills to capture school events and athletic moments are all invaluable contributions that make the entire community feel supported and appreciated.
As a breast cancer survivor, Dr. Hamilton’s strength and resilience are truly inspiring. Her personal journey is a beacon of hope for others. Her unwavering dedication to the Sebastian River community and her passion for supporting students make her a truly deserving Community Champion.
