Visiting Willy’s Bar & Grill in Fellsmere is like stepping back in time to a simpler Florida. This place has great food and friendly people. We’ve heard good things about their prime rib and chicken wings, so we thought we’d check it out.
Fellsmere is a calm, quiet town, without all the usual busy city noise. But it makes up for it with its nice people and awesome food. Not far from Willy’s, you’ll find the Marsh Landing Restaurant. You should totally go there if you haven’t yet.
Last month, we took a big group to Willy’s on a Friday afternoon. The staff was so welcoming and helpful, making us feel right at home.
We ordered all sorts of things, like beer, wine, wings, and a bunch of other starters. The shrimp stood out to us. They were big and seasoned just right.
People who frequent Willy’s told us to try their wings, said to be the best around. I’m glad I listened to them. These wings were huge and cooked with whatever sauce you pick. It was so good. The only other place I’ve seen wings this big is at Woody’s BBQ, another place I love. These wings had almost no fat, just tasty meat.
Willy’s makes their wings in a variety of homemade flavors. They have everything from hot, medium, and mild garlic parmesan, to BBQ and Carolina BBQ. But the flavors that people seem to love the most are honey mustard, Old Bay, Old Bay & honey, sweet red chili, lemon pepper, and a mix of teriyaki & mango habanero.
But it’s not just about the wings. They also serve up other tasty meals like prime rib, pizza, burgers, nachos, and an interesting dish called the Philly cheese steak quesadilla.
Besides the great food, Willy’s also has a bunch of fun events. You can watch live bands, play poker games (like Texas Holdem), sing karaoke, join a special bike night, and even play games like cornhole and horseshoes.
