Sebastian River Medical Center and Steward Medical Group are pleased to welcome Dr. Christopher Vivas to North County Medical Group.
Dr. Vivas is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He earned his Doctor of Medicine through Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Urena in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He completed a residency at the Hospital De la Conception, San German, Puerto Rico.
Dr. Vivas is bilingual in English and Spanish and is committed to the general overall health of his patients, treating patients in congestive heart failure, diabetes management, COPD, and infectious disease. His special interests also include assisting patients in their treatment of depression and anxiety.
“My hospital-based training provided me the experience of treating a broad spectrum of patients and conditions, while my experience in the outpatient clinical setting afforded me the opportunity to treat a high volume of geriatric patients.” states Dr. Vivas. “As a physician, I would not prescribe a course of treatment that I would not take myself or prescribe to my loved ones.”
