There are now 12 confirmed coronavirus cases in Indian River County, health officials said. Brevard County, the next county north of Sebastian, now has 11 confirmed coronavirus cases.

There is one patient being hospitalized in the county. We do not know the cities of where these patients are from, as the health department will not release this information at this time.

Out of the 11 patients, only 1 was not a resident in Indian River County. There are four men, and seven women. Six of the cases are travel-related.

About 94 people in Indian River County tested negative for the virus.

There are no deaths in the county at this time caused by COVID-19.

The average age in the Indian River County cases so far is 59. Right now, all patients are between 25 and 84 years of age.

Florida has 215 more coronavirus cases than yesterday, totaling 1,682 with 22 deaths. About 1,439 people are being monitored in the state of Florida at this time.
