SEBASTIAN – The Sebastian Clambake Festival 2016 will be held Nov. 4 – 6 at Riverview Park. It’s a great event with bands performing as patrons enjoy clam chowder, steamers, clam strips, and shrimp. Sausage, hot dogs, and pizza will also be available.

“It is wonderful to work together as a community for our community,” Sebastian Clambake Foundation president Anjani Cirillo said in a statement. “We are very grateful for our Member Organizations, our sponsors, and all our volunteers. This is a great family event!”

This Sebastian Seafood festival will bring something new to the 2016 menu: crab cakes. For the first time, the annual event will feature crab cakes by the Treasure Coast Rugby Foundation.

Visitors can also donate non-perishable food items and fund to help the need at a new booth dedicated to the Ecumenical Food Pantry in Roseland. The pantry will receive a grant from the clambake proceeds.

The Sebastian Clambake Foundation will give grants to SOS Cookies, Sebastian River High School’s Chum Bucket, By the River’s food program, the River Fund, United Church of Sebastian, and the Kashi Foundation.

To date, the Clambake Foundation has given away more than $600,000 since it started.

Craft beer will be provided by Walking Tree Brewery, and the Small Town Brewery will bring back its “Not Your Father’s Root Beer,” which was popular in 2015.

Several bands will keep people entertained, including Tumbleweed with Dave Scott, Hot Pink, Bobby Coleman & the Coolers, Time Machine, Vintage, Zip Code and The Cheyenne Band.

The Sebastian Clambake is located at 600 U.S. 1, Riverview Park, in Sebastian, Florida. Admission is free, and food tickets are $1 each.

The festival will be open from 1:30-9 p.m. on Nov. 4; 10 a.m-9 p.m. Nov. 5; 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Nov. 6.
